JOHANNESBURG - Judge Zak Yacoob has recused himself as Chair of CSA Interim Board after a recording surfaced of Yacoob making derogatory remarks to a journalist.

Sports Minister Nathi Mthethwa has appointed Stavros Nicolaou to take over.

The decision for Yacoobs's recusal was by mutual agreement with Mthethwa.
