South Africa urges North Korea to abandon nuclear ambitions

South Africa, which shut down its nuclear weapons programme after the end of apartheid, urged North Korea to abandon its nuclear ambitions during a recent visit to the impoverished country.

The call comes as a decades-long conflict with South Korea drags on.
