Johannesburg, 10 February 2018 - The sisters, aged 10 and 8 have been posting videos of their hometown in Eastern Ghouta in Syria. They recorded this message especially for eNCA.?

JOHANNESBURG - The home of two Syrian girls -- who have taken to social media to highlight their dangerous living conditions -- has been bombed.

It is understood that eight-year-old Alaa Alkhateeb has been injured.

Alkhateeb and her 10-year-old sister, Noor, regularly posted videos of bombings in the rebel-held Eastern Ghouta Province.

They were hoping for international intervention to stop the war.

Apparently, their home was destroyed on Thursday night in a fresh wave of bombings.

The girls had recorded a message for eNCA earlier this month.

eNCA is still trying to make contact with the family.

This is the last video the siblings posted.
