SA’s health emergency | North West to reduce reliance on Cuban doctors

JOHANNESBURG - The North West may soon reduce its reliance on Cuban-trained doctors.

It's set up a new medical school at the North West University.

Health MEC Madoda Sambatha says this will improve the delivery of health services in the province.

"A university medical school will become very handy because this is the platform of tertiary level and once started it is also going to improve drastically our delivery of health service in general."
