WATCH | George Building Collapse | Teams scramble rescue dozen trapped under rubble

GEORGE - Rescue operations are underway following the collapse of a building under construction in George. 

The incident took place yesterday and around 75 workers were on site at the time.

The death toll has risen to six, and out of the 48 construction workers trapped, only one has been rescued. 

We understand that Gift of the Givers has now joined rescue efforts.
