Crime in SA | 10111 Call centres understaffed

JOHANNESBURG - The country’s 10111 police call centres are in a dire state and worsening by the year. 

Responding to a DA parliamentary question, Police Minister Bheki Cele says the centres are staffed at around 41 percent. 

This results in an alarming amount of calls going unanswered.
