World Malaria Day | Intensifying the fight against malaria

JOHANNESBURG - On Thursday marks World Malaria Day and according to the World Health Organization, the number of cases worldwide increased by five million in 2022 to 249 million.

African health ministers signed a proclamation in March pledging to enhance domestic funding for malaria control initiatives.
