WATCH | A victim of a Blue Light gang incident speaks out

JOHANNESBURG - Blue light gangs are increasingly targeting motorists by posing as police or metro police officers.

They hijack, rob and even kidnap victims.

Various parts of Gauteng have been identified as hotspots.

Although police have made some breakthroughs, incidents are still being reported.

Over the past few months, police have arrested a number of blue light suspects in Gauteng, including a suspected ring leader.

They also recovered cloned police vehicles and police uniforms.

One victim spoke to us about his experience in the video above.
