Endangered people | Gang violence surges in Westbury | Part 1

JOHANNESBURG - Gang violence has surged in Johannesburg’s Westbury suburb in the past few months.

In just one weekend over 13 April, 10 people were shot, four of them fatally. 

The community has been gripped by fear and has been appealing to the government to call in the army.
