PRETORIA - President Cyril Ramaphosa says that the advent of Democracy in South Africa restored the dignity of the Majority.

He was delivering  the keynote address at the Union Buildings in Pretoria during Freedom Day celebrations.

Ramaphosa says despite some setbacks a lot has been achieved in the past 30 years since South Africa became a democratic state. 

Today marks the 30th anniversary of the realisation of a democratic dispensation in South Africa. 

This year’s Freedom Day is celebrated Under the theme, '30 Years of Democracy, Partnership, and Growth'.
