2024 Elections | Former boxing champion throws his hat into the ring

JOHANNESBURG - Independent candidates are shaking up South Africa's political landscape. For the first time in our democracy, voters are no longer restricted to political parties, at the national and provincial level.

Former boxing champion Lovemore Ndou has thrown his hat in the ring. For now, he projects his votes to come from his home province of Limpopo. 

But does he have what it takes to become the number one citizen in future polls?
