JOHANNESBURG - Residential estates, complexes and small towns can join Eskom’s load curtailment programme.

This will help them avoid blackouts up to Stage 4 if they keep electricity consumption in check.

The Free State town of Clarens has effectively used the programme to kiss scheduled outages goodbye.
