Taxi drivers clash with police in Cape Town CBD

CAPE TOWN - Public order policing have been deployed to the Cape Town CBD following tensions between law enforcement and taxi drivers.

Several taxis were impounded earlier causing taxi drivers to blockade the entrance of a taxi rank in the CBD.

The drivers were demanding an immediate release of their impounded taxis.
