2024 Elections | Ramaphosa happy at Mbeki's move to join campaign trail

JOHANNESBURG - A day after former president Thabo Mbeki joined the ANC campaign trail in Soweto, party President Cyril Ramaphosa says other former presidents will be joining the campaign trail. 

Mbeki's admitted the nation faces a lot of problems. But he says they're being addressed, despite some internal issues within the party.

We'll all remember that last year, Mbeki wrote a letter blasting the ANC for wanting to protect Ramaphosa on the Phala Phala saga, at all costs.

Ramaphosa says he's happy with Mbeki's decision. He was responding to a question by eNCA Reporter, Moloko Moloto.
