Restore the power grid | Fewer blackouts attributed to improved maintenance

JOHANNESBURG - Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says the implementation of numerous interventions by Eskom is yielding results on the energy front.

South Africans have enjoyed two weeks without scheduled power cuts and the minister seems to have struck a positive note on the success of the maintenance programme.

But he has warned of unexpected setbacks that can occur at any time.
