JOHANNESBURG - Moving away from coal and other fossil fuels as an energy source may be viable, but as a country we simply cannot afford it at this point.

Political analyst Oscar Van Heerden says given the abundance of coal found in the country, it would only be fitting that we take advantage and make use of what we have.
