There's speculation the party in KZN will throw its weight behind Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma for President and that we may see the resurrection of former president, Jacob Zuma's career on the greater political landscape.

Xolani Dube, political analyst, from the Xubera institute says the party is full of instability.

"The question is, where are the young people in the ANC, in KZN. There is so much confusion in the ANC, the ANC is like a mad house. The people who are supposed to be mentoring young people are competing with young people. Young people were supposed to have been groomed," Dube said.
