Bester's safety upon SA return is of paramount importance - Analyst

JOHANNESBURG - The safety of fugitive, rapist and murderer, Thabo Bester is of paramount importance once he is back in South Africa.

That is the view of crime expert, professor Kholofelo Rakubu, who says organised syndicates are involved in the saga.

She labelled Bester's prison escape as a walkout, saying it was too well oiled to call it prison break.

Efforts are underway to bring Bester and his accomplices back in the country after their arrest in Tanzania.
