ANC unveils economic strategy

JOHANNESBURG - The ANC has set an ambitious goal to lift South Africa’s economic growth to three percent as part of its newly announced policy blueprint ahead of the 2026 elections.

The plan aims to guide the party’s priorities over the next 18 months to boost sluggish economic performance.

eNCA spoke to economist Sifiso Skenjana for reaction and analysis on whether that target is realistic.
