Board of inquiry to probe Iran participation in Brics naval drills

JOHANNESBURG - Defence Minister Angie Motshekga has ordered a Board of Inquiry to probe Iran's participation in the Brics naval drills in Cape Town.

The inquiry will clarify whether President Cyril Ramaphosa's instructions were ignored.

The President had asked Iran to stop actively participating in the exercise.
