JOHANNESBURG - Delegates from over 50 countries are gathering in Sandton for the sixth South Africa Investment Conference.
President Cyril Ramaphosa is set to give an opening address on Tuesday morning.
Writing in his weekly newsletter, Ramaphosa praised the initiative.
He said since its inception in 2018, the conference has become a premier global forum for showcasing the attractiveness of investment opportunities.

The President said the country has secured investment pledges in the mining, healthcare, automotive and food and beverage sectors.
Ramaphosa said the country exceeded its target by 26 percent in 2024, securing pledges totaling R1.5 trillion.
