WATCH | Cash withdrawals inside Post Offices to end March 2024

JOHANNESBURG - Social grants recipients will now have to look for alternative ways to access cash. 

The Post Office has announced that cash payment points and cash withdrawal services will be phased out.

It's anticipated that by 31 March 2024, all branch grants payments will have stopped.

Escalating cash-in-transit heists, unfavourable conditions, and capacity challenges have driven the move.
