Overstrand Fires | Repairs expected to balloon to R3.5m

CAPE TOWN - Overstrand municipal leaders in the Western Cape expect repair costs stemming from recent wildfires to balloon to R3.5m.

Bushfires earlier this month ravaged more than 20,000 hectares of vegetation in the area.

Firefighters in Pringle Bay and Pearly Beach battled blazes around these communities.
