JOHANNESBURG - After two delays, the much-anticipated Budget Speech was finally delivered this week.
And while there were no VAT hikes, financial experts say the public's relief may be short-lived.
Rising fuel levies and unadjusted tax brackets mean households could still feel financial pressures.
"It seems like this is the only way that government can find wiggle room to get more money because we're already pretty much overtaxed," said Dehan Scherman of National Debt Advisors.
