JOHANNESBURG - South Africa’s biggest low-cost airline is set to get a new owner, with infrastructure investor Harith General Partners swooping in.
That's the same Harith that once tried to take over South African Airways.
Harith has signed a deal to acquire full ownership of FlySafair through its aviation arm.
The price tag has not been disclosed.
The deal still needs the green light from competition and aviation regulators.
In the meantime, FlySafair says it’s business as usual.
If approved, the deal marks a big shift for one of South Africa’s most reliable airlines.
