JOHANNESBURG - S&P Global has upgraded Eskom’s long-term credit rating to B-plus, from B, with a stable outlook.
It's also upgraded Eskom’s secured and unsecured debt.
The power utility says the ratings reflect its turnaround strategy, improved efficiency, and first profit in eight years.
In the 2025 financial year, Eskom reported consistent electricity supply 97.9 percent of the time.
