JOHANNESBURG - Statistics South Africa is expected to release the GDP figures for the second quarter of the year.
These numbers will reveal whether the economy is beginning to stabilise or declining further.
Investec Chief Economist, Annabel Bishop, said economists are looking for growth over the first quarter of 0.4 percent.
"A lift in GDP, not particularly strong, but definitely an improvement," she said.
