WATCH | Calls to scrap Gauteng's R13bn Eskom debt

JOHANNESBURG - Scrapping Gauteng’s Eskom debt, implementing a flat rate and installing prepaid meters across the province are some of the focal points at the Gauteng Energy Expo.

The aim is to get a handle on the ongoing electricity crisis in the country’s economic hub, with R1.2bn earmarked for the job.

eNCA’s senior reporter, Aviwe Mtila, filed the report above.
