WATCH | SA economy up by 0.6% in Q2 of 2023

JOHANNESBURG - The South African economy grew by 0.6%  in the second quarter of the year.

READ: SA record 0.4% GDP growth in Q1

Economist Dawie Roodt credits the growth to increase in the manufacturing, agriculture, and mining industries' business activity.

Poor performers include the transport, storage and communication industries.

Statistics South Africa released the latest GDP figures for the second quarter of 2023 on Tuesday.
