JOHANNESBURG - The Automobile Association (AA) has raised concerns about the safety and quality of vehicles coming into South Africa.
Although a variety of brands, they are predominantly worried about Chinese vehicles coming into the country.
CEO Bobby Ramagwede said certain vehicle models may not meet structural safety and manufacturing standards.
Ramagwede said they have noticed a worrying trend.
"The gap between our safety standards and international safety standards is quite big," he said.
