EKURHULENI - Airports Company South Africa has assured travellers that enough jet fuel has been secured for OR Tambo International Airport.
A jet fuel refinery, which caught fire in early January, is expected to be up and running again by the end of February.
Fuel supply problems, coupled with a glitch in the Border Management Authority’s biometric system topped the list of headaches the airport had to deal with over the festive season.
The CEO of ACSA, Mpumi Mpofu discussed this with eNCA.
