JOHANNESBURG - Spanish airline Air Europa is set to launch a new long-haul route between Johannesburg and Madrid from Wednesday.
The service will operate three times a week.
It will be the airline’s fourth destination in Africa as it expands its global network.

Air Europa says the route will boost tourism, with up to 60% of passengers expected to be inbound European tourists.
The airline will also move cargo in and out of South Africa.
Industry players say the new route is a major boost for South Africa’s tourism sector, improving connectivity and increasing competition on European routes.
