BRICS bank to fund fight against blackouts

South Africa will receive funding from the new BRICS development bank to help it address the energy crisis.

 

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa will receive funding from the new BRICS development bank to help it address the energy crisis.

So says Clayson Monyela, head of diplomacy at the Department of International Relations and Cooperation.

Monyela says the country continues to benefit from the formation of the BRICS group.

Foreign ministers from the group are currently meeting in Cape Town
