CEOs meet to identify economic growth opportunities

JOHANNESBURG - Southern Africa has the most promising business prospects despite current challenges.

That's the word from CEOs attending the 10th Southern Africa Europe CEO Dialogue.

The event has been described as an important investment and trade gathering that unpacks strategic economic relationships for Gauteng and other parts.

The forum also allows both government and private executives to increase investment prospects across various industries in the regions.

Gauteng exports 22.3 percent of South Africa’s EU exports and is a source market for 32.1 percent of goods that are important.

Investment opportunities are set to be geared towards the province as a connectivity hub for African business and EU stakeholders.

The event is hosted by the European House of Ambrosetti, a think tank based in Italy.

CEO Pietro Mininni said the event will look to address the ongoing energy crisis, rising inflation, and geopolitical crises.
