Commercial property sector concerned about power cuts

JOHANNESBURG - The rolling power cuts are being felt everywhere in South Africa.

The commercial property sector is also raising concerns about the impact.

FNB KZN Commercial Property Finance head Malusi Mthuli said, "the commercial property market is certainly bleeding as a result of this crisis."

"On the construction side, one can think of many challenges, downtime, delay, increase in building costs. All of these aspects add up to the  challenges that the builders and developers are actually facing."
