Despite warnings from weather agencies about El Nino bringing warmer temperatures and less rain, Agbiz expects the adverse effects to be relatively mild given healthy existing soil moisture from the past season.
Respondents did however flag inefficiencies in logistics, crime, deteriorating municipal service delivery, and power cuts as some of the major challenges in the sector.
