Cost of living crisis | Improved local growth anticipated

JOHANNESBURG - Despite a myriad of challenges, FNB anticipates that economic growth will improve slightly this year.

But the country will continue to grapple with hurdles including high interest rates, the energy crisis and infrastructure issues.

On the upside, household consumption is expected to improve as consumers benefit from lower inflation, employment gains, the extension of the Social Relief of Distress grant and the interest rate cutting cycle.
