PRETORIA - The legal bid to stop the analogue switch-off set on 31 March is in the High Court in Pretoria.
Communication and Digital Technology Minister, Solly Malatsi withdrew the SABC Bill in November 2024 stating that the current version needs to be adjusted to provide a more sustainable funding model.

eTV challenged the switch-off, arguing that it will disadvantage millions of South Africans.
The government has been running behind with the roll-out of set-top boxes.
The Court is expected to hear more arguments from eTV as proceedings continue..
