Dischem CEO to step down at the end of June

JOHANNESBURG - Ivan Saltzman is stepping down as Dischem CEO at the end of June.

This after more than four decades at the helm of the pharmaceutical retailer.

Saltzman says for the past 45 years he and his wife have grown the business from a single store to what is today.

Dischem is the largest retail pharmacy chain by market share in South Africa with a network of over 300 retail stores and over 20,000 staff.

Saltzman will remain on the board as an executive director
