JOHANNESBURG - The Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Department says government estimates draft economic growth rate for the next five years to be three-percent.
During a media briefing on Friday, the department outlined the implementation of the Medium-Term Development Plan across government departments.
The three-percent growth rate is informed by the medium-term development plan processes.
Efficiency at local government levels is aimed at attracting investment and stimulating economic growth.
Economist, Dr Iraj Abedian discussed this with eNCA.
