Electricity Minister studying High Court blackout ruling

JOHANNESBURG - It's now been 54 days without rolling power blackouts.

The High Court recently dismissed Eskom and government's application to overturn the recent blackout ruling.

The court had previously ordered Eskom to produce a sufficient supply of electricity, especially for essential services such as hospitals, schools and police services. 

Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa has noted the court judgment.

He said he is still studying the ruling and is yet to decide his next move.
