Fuel price hike expected in March

JOHANNESBURG - Another significant increase in the price of petrol, diesel and illuminating paraffin is expected in March.

That is the word for the Automobile Association based on unaudited data from the Central Energy Fund.

According to the latest figures, petrol and diesel prices could increase by up to R1.20 per litre.

In addition, illuminating paraffin is set to increase by 63 cents per litre. 

The official adjustment of the fuel prices comes into effect on Wednesday 6 March.
