Growthpoint steady despite headwinds

JOHANNESBURG - Growthpoint Properties has delivered a steady set of results for the year ending June 2025. 

But the company remains cautious about the headwinds facing the local property, and construction industry.

Rising building costs, funding constraints, and delays linked to infrastructure and energy supply continue to weigh on development plans. 

At the same time, tenant demand is shifting, with logistics and mixed-use spaces gaining traction while traditional offices face pressure. 

As South Africa’s largest listed property group, Growthpoint’s approach to navigating these challenges will set the tone for much of the sector.
