Interest rates | ANC wants meeting with SARB

JOHANNESBURG - ANC NEC Member, Enoch Godongwana, will discuss the repo rate with the Reserve Bank.

The party is worried about the sharp rise in the cost of living amid persistent power cuts.

It says while economic growth is key, something must be done to help South Africans in the short term.

Godongwana, who is also Finance Minister, will meet officials ahead of the rates announcement on Thursday.
