Major milestone in renewable energy

PARYS - A significant milestone in South Africa' renewable energy efforts has been reached.

The Damlaagte PV Facility near Parys has begun operating.

It's the first project to supply power under a groundbreaking joint procurement program between major industry players.

Owned by Mainstream Renewable Power, uBuzwe Energy, and Thembelihle Trust, the plant will deliver clean energy to the Eskom grid and support a key industrial site in Secunda,

This will help both companies achieve their decarbonisation goals.
