Rooibos brewing big gains for wellness travel sector

JOHANNESBURG - The Rooibos Council is hoping to sip success.

It says the tea is set to be a game changer for South Africa in the wellness travel sphere.

Africa's wellness tourism market sits at nearly $90-billion and the market is blooming.

The Western Cape, Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal receive the most visitors travelling for health and wellness activities.

Adele du Toit from the council says Rooibos is a valuable asset.
