SA GDP increases by 0.6%

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa's GDP has increased by 0.6 percent.

Statistics SA released the GDP figures for the fourth quarter of 2024 on Tuesday.

The increase follows a decrease of 0.1 percent in the third quarter of last year.

The agriculture, forestry and fishing industry increased by 17.2 percent.

This contributed to a 0.4 percentage point positive addition to the GDP.

Meanwhile, the manufacturing industry decreased by 0.6 percent
