JOHANNESBURG - Earlier this year South Africa was greylisted by the Financial Action Task Force.
This was over the country's anti-money laundering efforts or rather lack thereof.
The greylisting has had consequences for businesses and individuals, too.

One of these is the constant monitoring of cross-border financial transactions.
Victoria Lancefield from Financial Emigration said there are many different consequences.
"The main change that we've seen is through SARS," Lancefield said.
