JOHANNESBURG - Despite business confidence in the services sector remaining shaky, hotels and restaurants have seen a massive boost.
This is according to the Bureau for Economic Research’s latest Other Services Survey results.

In the fourth quarter of 2023, business confidence in the sector dropped by six points to 42%.
This suggests that the current state of business is not satisfying to 60% of respondents.
This decrease comes after a slight uptick in the third quarter.
