SARB expected to cut interest rates
JOHANNESBURG - JOHANNESBURG - Economists widely expect a interest rate cut from the Reserve Bank.
It's been further entrenched by positive inflation numbers and the US Fed's aggressive half-percent cut.
But, many say the central bank will maintain its cautious approach keeping the cut to 25 basis points.
Meanwhile, Consumer Price Inflation for August cooled to 4.4 percent from 4.6 percent in July.
This is the lowest inflation point we've seen since April 2021.
